well a interesting walk this evening.
very few birds about,only things of interest were the 4 common sandpiper's buzzing around the res.
i very rarley see anyone up here on a weekday,so this guy looks depressed and even sounded depressed as i said hello,it was only after i realised he had a piece of paper and a pen in his hand,he was not in the mood for chatting.he may have been a poet/writer,but i have a gut instinct,
anyway

i managed to see 'basement lamb' all sheep are thick only evil ones will stand there and look at you as if you have made some mistake in life and give you the 'eye'.

having missed all the migration period i suppose i have to expect it to be a quiet for the next month and half!but then what you dont know cant hurt you.
hopefully the weather will improve later on this week.

well after 2 months without a car,today having bought a new car i was finally able to get up't 'with'. the weather was shit,light was shit,it was all shit.
well ok it wasn't.
the new camera was great,the car was great

so off to elland gp this afternoon,spent 4 hours watching 2 male and 4 female broad bodied chaser's zooming around the small pool on the old tip.

2 great walks this weekend,in total about 27 miles! not a lot of birds about but the dragonfly season is up on us,so elland gp was a great place to start looking.3 days of sunny weather brought out

it looked something like this only a bit different

the homeless

like me many people think all the homeless people are either druggies or alcoholics!
i am now ashamed to feel this way after walking to the train station this morning at 0520.
as i came up the spiral staircase (made of stone and victorian) i came across the above ,and old duvet,soap,toothpaste,deodrant,shampoo and shoes placed neatly! no one insight but no druggie or alcky here just some poor lad on the bones of his arse,he was knowhere to be seen but i left a couple of quid.
it really put into perspective my lack of car,and not being able to go to the 'with'

i hope the guy is okay and had a meal off the £5 i left
