Redcar Tarn

well after a hard weeks graft saturday is time to chill out and go birding.........the forecast was not good, so what better place to go!!

this place has everything i need........big car park and birds = happy

got here for just after 8 and was looking pants......overcast and windy

but gulls like wind and seem to play in it catching leafs good fun to watch

now i have my favourite spot to park and its mine

just before 11 id had my fill and was freezing, turned the key nothing flat battery ! the weather was getting worse, luckily a pick up pulled up to walk the dog and feed the birds

i asked for jump leads no at home! i dont know what happens up here but my phone just dies

so a flat battery and a dead phone, the couple turned back up and said they would ask the farm nearby for jump leads as they knew them

it was awful weather but waited and waited then like a white hope a pick up pulled up to the bumper, he said sorry but we had a coffee and to be fair i couldnt blame him

so in the rain we managed to get the van started and in true yorkshire fashion just said goodbye and drove off with a wave

faith in people restored

and for the photos
