all back to flambourgh

last months one day only if that Taiga Flycatcher seems to have been hiding at south landing for nearly 3 weeks

so i couldnt resist the chance of another lifer and yorkshire tick

arrived at south landing just after 8am and card payment worked on the ticket machine!!!! they usually dont

very windy so by 9 things wernt looking good, had a mooch about by the lifeboat station nothing just a few dunnocks, but the Red Flanked Bluetail was still there..........brief view on the deck but dissapeared, most people follow the bird, i headed to behind where it was seen..........a quick glimpse of pale white caught my eye......there it was just sat on a branch

Red Flanked Bluetail

some birds really are value and this is a stunner, it moved higher up and fed in the tops

but what i really want is the Taiga Flycatcher leaving the bluetail i headed over the bridge to have a look nothing then suddenly its seen

after 30 minutes wait i saw it feeding above my head

the crowds were getting busy on the small path so headed to bempton
not much in the wind but nice to seee tree sparrows pink footed geese 2 gannets and these really shy  blackbirds
