bleak and cold
well finally enough light in the evenings to make the long awaited visits.
despite the very cold wind and dusting of snow, a pair of mallards have taken up residence along with 9 canada geese.the pieds wagtails are back!! god i love those piddys!
that was it 3 species not even a carrion crow.
the res has a bit of shoreline at the moment lets hope it stays dry for the waders.
