2010 a great start!

the day started at scammonden with both juvenile great northern divers present,though distant.
the newer bird moved to the middle of the res,it spent 5 minutes preening and flapping before taking off,it circled the res 5 times before heading north ringstone maybe?

bird #1 was still by the dam doing a nice feeding routine and coming very close at times

Good start to the yeare the divers were swimming and diving together at first light today along with 3 Goldeneye.When you did your record for Calderdale what date did you reach 100 species.??

must of just missed you.off the top of my head it was around the 14th of feb which was a curlew at ringstone and to top it off i was with gordon,so battered the 100 birds in a 100 days!!!
